Before J’Zhirr bade farewell to Valerica, she gives this one some advice on getting the other half of his soul back.
Valerica explains that J’Zhirr’s soul essence was trapped inside a gem and all this one needs to do is to retrieve the gem. The moment J’Zhirr touches it, his soul essence will be restored. Valerica recalls that there is an offering altar nearby and she is willing to bet that J’Zhirr soul gem is there.
J’Zhirr finds the altar which is on top of a building and guarded by a life-draining crystal. Luckily consuming soul husks can negate the crystal’s draining effects for a few seconds.
J’Zhirr finds the gem and it is as Valerica described, the moment J’Zhirr touches it, his soul is restored. Kind of anti-climax. J’Zhirr was expecting some kind of sign, like a flash of light or a big bang or something.
