Faendal

Faendal

Dear Mother,

Sven is not the only one who has his eye on Camilla Valerius. Faendal is also interested in Camilla and Sven complains that Faendal often sneaks over to the Riverwood Trader to talk Camilla.

Faendal is a hunter who also puts in some additional hours at the lumber mill. He is quite adept with the bow and says that he once took down a bear at three hundred yards in a blizzard. But of course with stories like that, there is nobody else around to confirm it.

Camilla Valerius

Camilla Valerius

Dear Mother,

Perhaps Camilla Valerius is the reason that Sven stays on in Riverwood. Sven calls Camilla his muse and has indicated his interest in her.

J’Zhirr does not understand why. This one does not find Camilla a great beauty, but she is the only eligible single female in Riverwood.

Sven

Sven

Dear Mother,

Sven is the son of Hilde and the bard in Riverwood. He is usually found in the Sleeping Giant Inn, playing his lute. Although J’Zhirr occasionally sees him plays the drum.

Sven is full of himself. He says that he did not spend a lot of time a the Bards College for a prodigy has little need for formal education. Ha! If he is a prodigy, then why is he stuck in a small village like Riverwood?

Hilde sees dragons

I see dragons

Dear Mother,

In Riverwood, Hilde casts her eyes skywards and claims she saw a dragon. Sven tries to calm his mother down but he is unsuccessful. Nobody in Riverwood believes Hilde. At best they think she is senile, at worse she is crazy. J’Zhirr supposes that one cannot really blame them, for dragons are creatures of myths and legends, not flesh and bone.

Masque of Clavicus Vile

Masque of Clavicus Vile

Dear Mother,

The boon that Clavicus Vile left behind is a rather ugly-looking mask. Although it does not offer good protection for battles, it improves one’s speech and enables one to obtain better prices at the shops. Other people do not seem to notice the mask but J’Zhirr still feels silly wearing it.

The owner of Riverwood Trader

Lucan Valerius behind the counter of Riverwood Trader

Dear Mother,

J’Zhirr went to the Riverwood Trader to sell some things that J’Zhirr picked up while fleeing from Helgen. J’Zhirr is careful not to say why J’Zhirr has so many armors and weapons. Humans tend to frown on taking things from the dead. J’Zhirr does not understand. If one is dead, then it is no longer of use to him, right?
