Sinding the werewolf

Sinding the werewolf

Dear Mother,

J’Zhirr finds Sinding the murderer alone in his cell. Sinding tells this one that he stole the Ring of Hircine. As a result of his actions, the Daedric Lord of Hunting puts a curse on the ring, causing the wearer to randomly transform into a werewolf. It was during one of those transformations that Sinding killed Mathies’ daughter.

Sinding speaks of a great beast that roams the forests of Falkreath. Legend has it that whoever kills this beast will gain Hircine’s favor. Sinding hopes that by doing so, Hircine will uncurse the ring. Since Sinding is in prison, J’Zhirr offers to hunt the beast on his behalf. Sinding gladly hands over the ring.

Then Sinding transforms into a werewolf and escapes from the prison. J’Zhirr feels like he has been conned.

Mathies in Corpselight Farm

Mathies in Corpselight Farm

Dear Mother,

J’Zhirr returns to Falkreath and hears that Mathies’ daughter was brutally murdered. Poor little girl, she did not live to see her tenth winter. Mathies tells this one that her murderer has been caught and thrown into the prison.

J’Zhirr finds the circumstances of her death rather strange. Mathies says she was torn apart and they could hardly find enough of her left to bury. A normal man will not have the strength to kill another so savagely with their bare hands. J’Zhirr decides to visit the prison to question the murderer.

Dragon perched on a rooftop

Dragon on a rooftop

Dear Mother,

J’Zhirr arrives at Falkreath to find a dragon attacking the town. J’Zhirr has to use his bow and arrows because he is unable to get close to it. It is a good thing that the hold guards join in and help to battle the beast. We manage to defeat it quickly and best of all? There are no casualties.

Sam Guevenne

Sam Guevenne

Dear Mother,

Sam Guevenne challenges me to a drinking contest at Dead Man’s Drink. He says there is a special brew that will knock a person out within three drinks and offers a staff if J’Zhirr beats him. J’Zhirr does not care about winning a staff. J’Zhirr accepts Sam’s challenge because the drinking contest sounds fun. Now that J’Zhirr has finished the job for The Companions, J’Zhirr can kick back and have some fun. There is no hurry to report back to Farkas.

Dead Man’s Drink

Dead Man's Drink

Dear Mother,

Despite the gloomy atmosphere in the town, the residents seem to have a morbid sense of humor. Many building names are related to death and it seems to be a running joke in the town. The inn J’Zhirr stays in is called Dead Man’s Drink. With a burning fire and Delacourt singing songs of heroic battles, it actually feels rather inviting.

Besides the inn, the other buildings are called Grave Concoctions, Corpselight Farm and Deadwood Lumber Mill.
