Deep Folk Crossing

Deep Folk Crossing

Dear Mother,

J’Zhirr found the Dwemer ruins the boys spoke about. J’Zhirr searches the ruins but all he finds is a dwarven helmet. There is also a broken glowing shard but it doesn’t seem to serve any purpose so this one leaves it behind. If J’Zhirr needs the glowing shard in the future, it will be easy to retrieve it now that this one knows the location.

Ruins of Bthalft

Ruins of Bthalft

Dear Mother,

J’Zhirr arrives at the Ruins of Bthalft and finds it strangely quiet. There are no sight of any bandits although evidence of their presence are still around. J’Zhirr can see various crates and barrels that the bandits use to store their belongings. Could it be that somehow they had learnt about J’Zhirr’s plans and had set a trap for him?

This one approaches cautiously, scanning his surroundings repeatedly. But still no bandit emerges from his hiding place. As J’Zhirr stands in the middle of the ruins pondering this curious turn of events, he hears the sounds of distant fighting.

Retrieving Grimsever

Grimsever

Dear Mother,

The Dwarven Centurion finally falls.

J’Zhirr searches the room and finds the Grimsever lying on a block of stone, next to some dried blood splatters, most likely Mjoll‘s. It is a beautiful-looking glass sword. J’Zhirr can see why Mjoll is so attached to it. She will be surprised when this one puts the sword in her hands.

An arrow in the Centurion

An arrow in a Centurion

Dear Mother,

J’Zhirr gets on a ledge and shoots arrows at the Dwarven Centurion. This one does not want to get anywhere near the warhammer and battle axe that the Centurion has for hands. But the hulk of Dwemer metal is not as stupid as it looks. It climbs up and comes after J’Zhirr. Thankfully there are also some spots in the room where the Centurion is too big is get into.

Steaming centurion

Dwarven Centurion

Dear Mother,

J’Zhirr steps a little to close and the Dwarven Centurion is activated. It moves around the room, billowing steam like a steam engine. Its arms end in a warhammer and a battle axe, both of which will deliver a crushing blow if the centurion manages to land a hit.

A Dwarven Sphere has also appeared. This one decides to take out the sphere first as it is the weaker machine.

Centurion room

Dwarven Centurion

Dear Mother,

J’Zhirr steps cautiously into the room. A Dwarven Centurion stands at the other end. It is the largest of the mechanical guardians that the Dwemers had constructed, as tall as a giant. It is very strong and highly resistance to damage. This will not only be a tough fight, it will be a long one as well.

This one stays in the shadows and observes it. The centurion does not move. However this one is sure that once he steps close enough, the centurion will attack without mercy.
