Meanwhile, Falk Firebeard is talking to a representative from Dragon Bridge. The representative, Varnius Junius, is asking for Solitude’s help to investigate Wolfskull Cave due to rumors of disappearances and strange lights. Sybille says that her scrying has suggested nothing in the area. She adds that this is likely superstitious nonsense. Falk too feels that a more tempered reaction is called for. He is occupied with the war and cannot spare any men.
So guess who is available to take on the job?
